We had the good fortune of connecting with Alo The Radio God and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alo The Radio God, what role has risk played in your life or career?
if i didn’t take risks i would not be in the place i am today. i come from humble beginnings i worked every type of 9 to 5 you can think of. from fast food to retail, to factory work to shoveling horse manure i did it , but none of those jobs ever lasted long because i would always refused that working for these companies would be my life. One day i got a wake up call from a boss of mine. i was working at a call center and i was miserable i would miss many opportunities because i was stuck slaving for the clock. well one day my boss called me into her office and said “you don’t belong here, go follow your dreams. im going to do you a favor your FIRED!” i was so scared no more paychecks i could of easily gotten another job but i said this is it. it’s all or nothing. it’s been 10 years i went from making 9 dollars an hour to making $500 an hour.i went from being stuck in one place to traveling the world ….. without risks theres no big reward

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
i am DJ Khaled with a camera. im wild im crazy people book me because of my high energy … when im directing im very vocal i give all my subjects excitement. when interviewers ask me what i do for a living i tell them im in the business of making people feel good about themselves . when you do a shoot with me your self esteem will rise. i came into this business not knowing one person im a spanish kid from new york with no family ties in the entertainment industry. i had to do alot of things for free i had to go to many networking events and i had to pay my dues… but guess what? it all worked out. i learned the art of sprinkling and that tool took me a long way.
as far as challenges i have never lost im blessed everything i set my mind to i accomplish and im only gonna keep going up. i want the world to know that my grind dont stop and im always gonna re invent the wheel

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
