Hi Alexus, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
Hello, my name is Alexus Lenell Highley. I was born on September 30, 1999. I’m from Atlanta Georgia.

I am setting the stage for others as I step out of my comfort zone, be different and pursue a bright future. Through my YouTube Channel ( The Fabulous Alexus), I have the opportunity to make my dreams a reality. I am a motivational speaker and a social media influencer. In addition, I have started networking with different people while having my own reality show based on me.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My reality show is on Youtube and I wouldn’t be where I am without my friends and family support. They show the their support by watching and posting my videos, and giving feedback about my videos. Having a great support system from the people who I love is very helpful. It’s a good feeling to know your friends and family are on your side and want to see you go far in your career. That actually motivates me to be better not just as a Youtuber, but as a person as well.

Starting a Youtube channel is not easy as people make it looks. Are there any challenges for Youtube?
it’s hard for me, at times, to come up with video ideas. Now a days, people are on social media, starting Youtube channels and doing the similar content. It’s okay to have the same content as the next as others; however, what makes me different is I ensure my videos stand out from others. This allows me to attract the right people to my channel. Now, People make it looks so easy, but honestly, it’s not. It takes a lot of work and if you don’t put a lot of time into the content of your videos it will show on your channel.

The reason why I became a Youtuber is due to a number of reasons. First, I don’t have a lot of friends and I used to get bully at school almost all the time l. Thus, I wanted to help and inspire others who are afraid to reach out for help, step outside the box and be unique. Through my channel, many will see the real me, real life experiences, which I hope they will relate to and see how to have a positive outcome!

My channel’s name is TheFabulousAlexus. The content on my channel is makeup tips, lifestyles, blogs, relatable issues and positive affirmations. So please Make sure you all check out my channel to become apart of the #TFAFAMILY.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
This is a great question to ask. My friend and I just came back from South Of The Border. It’s a great getaway place to relax if your trying to get away from life a little bit. South Of The Border is at the border between South Carolina and North Carolina. They have great Mexican restaurants, shops and great spots to take pictures. Myrtle Beach is also another getaway place to go to. It would be a small vacation trip to take you a friend or a love one from the real world. The most exciting thing for me when I go on a small vacation is to ride down to the beach and take a break from life and relax. Having peace of mind while going away is very important. I would also check out water parks since it is starting to get hot and take a swim.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My shoutout goes to one of my friends good Chazney Benford. About a year ago she got an opportunity with Corey and Carmen.

She ended being on The Tube House with different other Youtubers around the world who got selected. She used to give me shoutouts all the time to boost up my followers and support. It’s the little things that help and support. I want to give her a shoutout of my own to return the favors.
