Hi Alexis, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The original thought process behind starting my business was simply to make money! I started out as a hustler. I began with just performing services. As I got older, I began to realize that this “hustle” was bringing in a six figure income. I started to see how lucrative the beauty industry is and not just in providing services. I wanted more! I wanted to become a brand bigger than myself!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Kissed & Klawed Beauty Studio is a nail salon located in Atlanta, GA. Our goal is to provide a top tier luxury experience at a reasonable price. We pride ourselves on being knowledgeable about nail technology. Nails, hands, and feet are really areas we prioritize until something is wrong. What sets us apart is we educate our clients on taking care of their nails, hands, and feet before it’s too late! I’m most proud of how fast my business grew from a salon suite to my own salon! I got my business to where it is by honestly working hard, never giving up and always keeping my goals at the forefront. It wasn’t easy at all!! I went through a lot and lost a lot while running my business and had to keep a smile on my face for my clients. I overcame my challenges by just taking it a day at a time. I listen to business podcasts to keep me motivated. I also pray so that helps A LOT! I’ve learned no one can stop me! I’ve learned more about my industry. I’ve learned the importance of building a good team! I want the world to know that Kissed & Klawed will be a name you won’t forget! My goal is open a chain of nail salons so this won’t be the last you hear of us!

I want to shout out my clients & supporters! They’ve watched my growth and my life unfold! They are the reason I have a business! They are amazing and I love them so much!
