We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexander Jackson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alexander, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
For me being an artist and a creative wasn’t a choice but more of a realization and acceptance. I have always felt different and see the world in ways that can’t be explained in words or expressed with limitations. Being present and letting my artistry and creativity come through me is one of the best and most fulfilling feelings I experience. It is the only way to be that allows the full potential of my energy to flow into the world and helps me accomplish wonderful things and inspire and uplift countless beings. This “career” choice I didn’t choose but rather it chose me.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As an artist, public figure and influencer I’v set out to build a brand that celebrates and inspires freedom of expression and love of oneself. I create content on social media @theealexanderj to uplift others and myself and videos and content that inspire all to do what makes them happy confidently and wherever they feel like it. Wether it be crossing the street, in your favorite store, at the park, doesn’t matter to me, I try and show people that the only show you should put on for people when you’re out in public is the one you star in. The one where you get to be yourself and you don’t have to act a certain way to be in the production. Doing what I do has been challenging yet life changing. It has inspired so much confidence, freedom, and creativity in me. My goal as a brand and public figure/influencer is to help others truly fall in love with themselves and express that love in the world.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Living in LA is amazing for finding unique spots and special little hangouts. Some of my favs are: Back on the Beach Cafe, WeHo, Sugar Taco, Shops on Melrose, Lucky Strike in Hollywood, Zuma Beach, and tons of great hiking spots all around the city. Santa Monica Mountains are great for seeing the sunset.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to give a shout to my mom for being my number one supporter and best friend whom I wouldn’t be here without. Big shoutout to the family, friends and fans who support me. I want to recognize Eckhart Tolle and his amazing works of literature including A New Earth which changed my life.
