We had the good fortune of connecting with Alaya Woodard and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alaya, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. I would say this is one of my proudest accomplishments making it out of a city where not many people get to tell their success story. I was raised by a single mother and that is 100% were my drive comes from growing up seeing my mom make things happen without making any excuses.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Hello , My name is Alaya Woodard and I am a Licensed Realtor here in Georgia. I come from a little city in Maryland called Baltimore even though I reside here in Georgia, Baltimore will always be my home, its apart of me the best part of me, it prepared me for the life I knew I wanted. Being from Baltimore truly molded me it gave me a true hustler spirit and a different mindset. For me failure was never an option thinking back to where I come from I’ve made it so far and I’m not even finished yet! I have been Licensed since January 2022 that was my happiest accomplishment to this day! I remember taking my online courses from 6-10PM everyday after working from 9-5 some days I didn’t even eat. I was so determined to become a Realtor. Prior to becoming a Realtor I worked as a Property Manager I knew that I was ready to take my business life to the next level from selling apartments to selling homes. It wasn’t an easy journey everyones real estate journey is different but it was well worth the sacrifices. I learned a valuable lesson through the process as well and that lesson is that if you work hard enough you can accomplish anything you want!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
A fun week Starting with Sunday in Atlanta for me looks like Brunch at Breakfast at Barneys their chicken and waffles are the best! Followed by a trip to the Rooftop of Ponce City Market for drinks and great vibes. Monday after working would do Sivas for their hookah and lamb chops they have some of the best!
Tuesday tacos and tequila pitchers at Señor Patron in Midtown
Wednesday Blue on Pharr road for Hookah and their Salmon dinner
Thursday bowling and pizza at Bowlero
Friday Cheetah in Midtown for their lobster bites
My favorite day Saturday would take a trip to Dahlonega GA to go ATV riding and come back and go to the movies at my favorite theatre Silverpoint in Smyrna GA.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give credit to my mother and grandmother the strongest woman in my life that keep me grounded and motivated at times I need a little extra push.
