Hi Akelliah, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
Im from a small rural town named Laurens, South Carolina. Coming from a small town, has helped shape me into the business woman that I am today. My background has helped me learn how to have patience, drive and to always remain humble.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I truly enjoy being able to connect with so many different type of people, from different ages, different countries around the world, and different states across America. Not only do I get the chance to help another person feel beautiful, I also receive the chance to receive great ideas as well and advice as well.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Some of my favorite places to visit in Charlotte, North Carolina are, Let’s Meat Kbbq, Steak 48, and Drift, if you are wanting a good bite to eat. When I want to get out the house and have a little fun I like to go be big kid at Frankies.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a huge shoutout to God, my parents, my sister, my aunt Sheila, and My mentor Tish. They have all been supportive of my dreams and goals since day one. Most importantly I want to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for always making a way for me and my business.
