We had the good fortune of connecting with Aaliyah Jackson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aaliyah, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I got the idea to selling hair when I was 16, I would spend hours doing research on different hair companies and watching reviews on the quality just so I would know who to purchase from. One day I just thought to myself why not start selling hair, at the time I was only 16 and aspired to go in the field of law so it was originally only going to be a side hustle just to make extra money but the more time and money I spent investing into testing the different hair companies & marketing and etc I fell in love with my brand, it’s literally my baby. I’ve enjoy watching it expand even though it isn’t quite where I want it to be it’s definitely growing everyday.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I feel like the one thing that sets my brand apart from other businesses is my compassion for our customers, I put in extra research time and money to ensure my customers are receiving the best quality hair so that they are satisfied with every purchased.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to thank my friends, parents and my partner for always backing me 110%. It’s been so many times when I wanted to stop for so many reasons and they all supported me not only mentally but financially. I also want to thank each and every last person who has purchased from or just simply reposted a post, you ladies definitely keep us going!
