Meet 2HARD: Musician – SHOUTOUT ATLANTA

We had the good fortune of connecting with 2HARD and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi 2HARD, why did you pursue a creative career?
I have always had a passion for music every since I was 11 years old. I was always around it, I couldn’t get away from it. I feel like music was put in my life because it created different paths for me, it made me find a sense of guidance in living my life. I love it!!!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Grind, Dedication and Pain is the reason why I go to the studio everyday and provide my very best. Success is never easy where Im from. Success is rarely heard of and I was always the type of person who goes against the odds or tries to diminish stereotypes. At the end of the day I was always that person that’s going to do what I have to do to put myself in a position to succeed. Along the way I’ve learned to always remain humble and never pay attention to what other people are doing in their careers. That can create distractions and cause me to lose sight of what I’m trying to achieve. Forever I am focus and motivated to give out my very best. I want the world to hear my story, where I come from, and what I’ve been through. The world can sometimes be a sad place to live in. I want whatever audience that is listening to my music to know I’ve been through the same things they may be going though where good or bad.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If you come with me anywhere, know that it’s never dull moment with me. I do sometimes find myself being repetitious at times for instance, if I could eat chicken wings all day I would. If I could be in the studio all day I would. I’m a exciting person to be around, but I wouldn’t mind doing the same things everyday. The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Really everyone that has shared the same struggle as I did deserves there flowers as well. I have friends and family that have been through trials and tribulations in there life and that’s who I try to be successful for. Not for just myself, but for the people who were with me when times were rough.
