We had the good fortune of connecting with 15K and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi 15K, why did you pursue a creative career?
Art was the only thing that could separate me from reality whether it’s me recording/producing, working on a video, creating phot concepts, etc. Throughout obstacles of life I’ve always relied on music to put me in a space of free thought & expression. My emotions are affected by music and everything else around me just seem so invisible.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Being an artist isn’t a walk in a park. When there’s no support that’s when you’re facing some of your biggest challenges. There are a lot of closed doors to the face, a lot of no’s, and a lot of envious energy. I try to applaud myself of changing my mindset towards these challenges and not running away from them. The world should know that whenever they hear my voice they’re getting raw & authentic expressions.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shoutout every person that’s been supporting me since I chose this path, they know who they are…. It’s not easy holding together your composure when you feel like the world isn’t watching.
