We had the good fortune of connecting with Kicki May-Nzeribe and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kicki, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
As a business strategist and property value enhancer, I bring a unique perspective to the world of branding in relation to interior styling /design. My focus on achieving luxury on a budget not only allows more people to experience the beauty and comfort of a well-designed space, but it also has a positive impact on the environment.

This unique service approach also promotes financial responsibility and mindful consumption, encouraging clients to invest in quality pieces that will stand the test of time rather than constantly purchasing new, trendy items that quickly become outdated.

Overall, my work as a business strategist and property value enhancer has a far-reaching impact, promoting sustainability, responsible consumption, and accessible luxury design.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Brand /Business Consulting is a skill i have built over the years through various engagements.

With branding, i learnt how to create and manage perceptions/image of people and products in the consumers eye. I started to learn 3D rendering and modelling when I realized real estate is an extension of Brands. Your choice of decor, layout and even home, shows clients the kind of value and detail to expect from you.

I based my business model on connecting those invisible dots for clients. Learning how to translate what I know about branding and brand perception to real estate decor and design too.

The greatest challenge has been getting people to see the value and pay the extra price for that 3D visual. People are use to working with a contractors choice (or perspective) on what is obtainable. I would really like to see people taking more interest in giving directives to the contractor, getting your dream space in 3D and having the contractors figure out how to best deliver that outcome to you instead.

To overcome this slight bump, we engage mostly with clients who come to the table knowing the value of having a personal vision for your space.

Sometimes, it’s easier not to try spending time and resources figuring out how to convince the public of your worth. Instead, focus on the few who already know the value and let them be your ambassadors and spokes people for other like minded potential clients in their network.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Malls …definitely.

Hardware stores

Buffet places

Amusement parks

Something haunted

A classy night club

And more food places

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
PEOPLE have been my greatest asset.

Vendors I meet along the way that give me advise on matters I know least about.

Contractors who have taught me about construction work and the professional parts of it beyond aesthetics

Customers who have helped maintain my humility and focus because serving diversified needs has both its challenges and rewards

Friends and Family who have had kind words of encouragement, Referrals and all the ways they support

My team of champions… they both learn and teach me things on a daily basis by their professionalism, efficiency and even humanity.
