How to know whether to keep going or to give up?

How do you know when you should keep going versus when it makes sense to cut your losses and try something new? It’s a difficult decision most entrepreneurs and creatives have faced along their journey and so we asked some brilliant folks from the community to share their thoughts.

Wow this is a great question! I don’t believe there is ever a time to really give up but I do believe that there is a time to pivot. What I mean by that is having the discernment to know when something or someone no longer serves you and your success. This could also mean changing the way you approach your goals or craft. Having been an athlete from the age of five, I got to experience wins and losses. It was instilled in me that I was going to have success and failures. When I was nineteen I got into modeling and would go on “go sees” which is the same as an audition, and I got lucky off the bat and booked my first job. Later, I transitioned into acting. I again was fortunate to get my first job that I auditioned for, on Days of Our Lives. Getting to experience this opportunity was a dream come true.
