How to know whether to keep going or to give up?

How do you know when you should keep going versus when it makes sense to cut your losses and try something new? It’s a difficult decision most entrepreneurs and creatives have faced along their journey and so we asked some brilliant folks from the community to share their thoughts.

The way you know whether to keep going or to give up is when you feel like giving up. You may feel like you are at your lowest or you may think that you have exhausted all options or avenues. Then is when you take a step back and apply more pressure than you did before. Sometimes we can feel like failures especially when we have the privilege of social media and 24hr internet access to compare our lives to our peers, which isn’t always healthy. Or maybe you have been working at something so hard but you’re not getting as much support as you would of imagined. Reevaluating is key to moving forward, Things to consider in doing so is your passion, how far you have come and your potential for growth. Giving up, simply, is not in my vocabulary. Too many people quit before the getting is good. A poor mentality will always bring you down to a lesser version of yourself. Even if the only progress that’s made in a day’s time is a one inch step— that one inch of territory gained. Progress does not need to be perfect it just needs to be consistent. Read more>>
