It takes a lot more than an idea to build a business, but there can’t be a business without the idea. So we asked folks who’ve built wonderful businesses to tell us about how they came up with the idea in the first place.

In 2016 I had a good friend that had just started her own team and she shared the opportunity with me. Even though I wasn’t a huge basketball fan I saw the value in the opportunity for my community. I truly believe my business Pretty Girlz Collection was a gift from God. One day, in the year 2020 I was online shopping(my favorite thing to do) at some of my favorite online boutique stores and the thought just came to me out of nowhere, like I can do this! I can have my own online fashion boutique! Since that day, I started researching everything I needed to be legit and a certified business owner. I obtained all my licenses needed. When coming up with the name for the business I had to think about what I want it to represent and who I am as person, uplifting.
