As a vocal coach, I foster and empower my students to share their unique voices with the world. We work to unlock and develop self expression, evoke honest emotion and soul into all of their musical endeavors. I believe music is a massive tool for self development, communication, and it brings people together by encouraging collaboration. I work with local and international students of all levels and contemporary styles to fuel their creativity and vocal athleticism. Making sure it’s a unique experience that focuses on the individual, I guide them to implement healthy techniques, improve vocal hygiene, express their artistry, and boost their confidence and persistence. I believe that as a entrepreneur- we have the power to influence and empower beyond our products and services. Growing up in the metro area of Atlanta, you will see areas that are progressing and you also see places that need assistance, resurgence and better influence as a community. Growing up as a black kid in the city of Atlanta, you are usually only influenced by the stereotypical notions of being an athlete, music artist, or even apart of the street culture. I wanted to my brand to represent a different outlet for those that may not want to take the typical route. I always wanted to show the youth that it’s cool to be different and do something that’s creative. Our goal as a brand is to put restaurants in the areas that lack a food location to take pride in. I feel urban and low income areas deserve more revived businesses that actually influence the community with great service and opportunities. Read more>>
I think performing has long-lasting transformative and healing effects on anyone it touches. And under the right circumstances, it has the ability to reach a multitude of people. It healed me. When I officially started acting in 2010, I was in a very dark place. My mother tried everything to pull me out of this hole that I had fallen into. She signed me up for recreational basketball, but it failed to allay what ailed me. She then tried to get me involved in baseball and karate. The latter of which I had the potential to really advance in, but it wasn’t what I was truly passionate about, you know? Finally, she signed me up for acting classes at The Alliance Theatre under the careful tutelage of Angie Harrell. Read more>>
A Minimalist Traveler helps the world by showing women, particularly women of color, how living a minimalist lifestyle can help you find passion and adventure through travel. My goal is to show women how living intentionally with passion can take you farther. You don’t need to be rich, have a certain career, or look to live a life filled with experiences.
