We had the good fortune of connecting with DJ Kno It All and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi DJ, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Well taking risk is apart of being an entrepreneur. They say you have to take big risk to get big rewards. Im more of a calculated risk taker though. I always did things young, as far as DJ’ing in clubs I wasn’t of age, or being in the music business and being the youngest in my field. Some of my risk have payed off and some haven’t, that’s just part of the game. Even now I’m transitioning for radio DJ To Radio personality.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Whats sets me aside is my personality and always being able to adapt to any situation. What I’m most proud about right now would be my transition from radio DJ to radio personality, something I thought would be easy but there is a lot of work that you have to put in to actually be successful in radio. I got to where I am now in my career by staying consistent, working hard and taking the right risk. It definitely hasn’t been an easy road, but through mistakes I’ve learned how to fail forward. The lessons I’ve learned is to just keep on learning, there’s always room for improvement. My brand is multi multifaceted, I DJ parties, radio, playlist, mixtapes, help A&R projects for artist, and this year I will be starting my community service initiatives.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well first off I would have to take them to some good places to eat, maybe a MR Everything, K&K Soul Food, Sea Salt, Fat Matts Rib Shack and of course Slutty Vegan. Definitely have to go site seeing at Centennial Olympic Park walk across the street to Sky View, and Ponce City Market. Then head over to the AUC to go see Clark Atlanta University, Spelman College, and Morehouse College. We definitely have to check out the night life and go to Opium, Suite Lounge, Zari, Ellenen45, Rose Bar,Bar Vegan, and Bonfire. Last but not least Lennox Mall, Cumberland Mall, Phipps Plaza for some shopping.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Honestly first I owe everything to GOD because without him I wouldn’t be where I am today. My family has been a big support because they gave me the confidence to not worry about the outside noise and focus on what I really want. I would also like to shoutout Steve Hegwood, Jerry Smoking B, and Solo from Streetz 94.5 for believing in me and giving me my first chance at radio. I can’t forget about my two mentors DJ Holiday and DJ Infamous for teaching me how to take my skills to the next level. Also Radio God Stu, my best friend and the one who usually gets me back focused when I get off track.
