When it comes to creating music, I think I can speak for a lot of artists when it comes to getting too caught up in the small details. It tends to be an easy trap to fall into when you’re stuck on that one small part, frequency, etc. because most of the time you will never actually fulfill that perfection that you’re looking for. For me, I’d just say consistency. We are often given the advice that you have to work hard in order to succeed is something I used to believe was necessary as well. However, what I’ve learned is that if I’m diligent, consistent and smart about the choices I make, all of that will in turn compound into success all on its own. Understanding your goal, and having a plan to get there! I have worked myself too hard, my capacity cannot give 100% toward success. Churning the wheel, so to speak.
