We had the good fortune of connecting with Ciph Boogie and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ciph, what do you want people to remember about you?
My legacy? I would like my legacy to show that I was a kid from Brooklyn, who fell in love with an Artform that gave him confidence. that gave him a voice to express his innermost thoughts, opinions, and feelings. An artform where he found his voice, and used his voice to entertain, motivate and enlighten his listeners. I want people to remember that I was always willing to give a helping hand, a word of advice, or encouragement. Above all, I would like to be remembered as a great person.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have always said that my music is based on the human experience, the good and bad of life, with a motivational twist. What I’m most excited about is my growth, I continue to grow as an artist and look to try new things in my music. What I’ve learned in my journey is that you must take the good with the bad, and with that, you have to keep going forward. You have to have the will to win. It’s #BrooklynStayWinning always and forever

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My favorite spot to go to is LOT 45 in Bushwick amazing spot, and they have wonderful music theme nights Our wicked lady is an amazing spot in Williamsburg with an amazing rooftop. Last but definitely not least is the Williamsburg hotel with amazing views, definitely a great spot to check out.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are so many people to name, I’m afraid to leave anyone out, to be honest. So for the sake of time, I’ll say to whoever has ever given me a word of advice, constructive criticism support, or love ever came out to one of my shows, streamed, or bought my music, you have been an integral part of my journey. You are the ones who keep me motivated on this crazy ass journey, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
