We had the good fortune of connecting with Addie Jean and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Addie, how do you think about risk?
Risks are MANDATORY! You must take risk! Failure is a window for a better opportunity. Taking risk requires seeing the difference between the life you have now and the life you want, and understanding the work involved to make it happen.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is for the sole purpose of impacting young ladies/woman. I strive on making sure that my clients are beautiful inside and out! Giving my clients a non judgmental safe space to unwind and just be themselves. I am honored to be such an inspiration to so many woman and men especially in Middle Georgia. I am excited for my launch of my own product line and extensions. My process was super hard breaking barriers in which a “hairstylist” is known for particular services. I am skilled in all areas beauty related. That is what sets me apart. I’ve learned so many lessons but the biggest one is not taking anything personal. Continue to be humble and always come from a genuine place. I want the world to know that I’m just beginning and I’m in my prime! What God has in store for me is so much greater than what the human eye can envision!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
One of the best places in Atlanta I visit especially for someone with an artistic eye is Illuminarium Museum. They offer drinks as well! Bugaloo Restaurant and lounge is great for brunch with friends. Flying Biscuit Cafe is great for a very traditional southern breakfast.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to dedicate and recognize my amazing family for allowing me to be as creative and daring as I wanted to be growing up. They all play a major part in my success! A special shout out to my life partner because you have supported me from day one! I love you BooBae!
