We had the good fortune of connecting with LaToya Green and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi LaToya, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Life is very short and many times we sit around wondering what our lives would be like if we did certain things instead of going out there and actually trying. We miss out on every opportunity we do not take so it’s best that we follow our hearts. Most of the time things may seem like they’re against us but that’s life. You never know what can actually happens if you don’t take the risk. We have to trust our own instinct. I take risk all the time, sometimes it fail but majority of the time god works in my favor. January 15th 2021 I took the risk to pack all my belongings up to move from Philadelphia to Atlanta by myself and its been a great experience since. I was scared and nervous but I did it and now I’m living the life I’ve always dreamed of. Taking risk actually pushes you out of your comfort zone and helps you achieve many goals. Take the risk or lose the chance is what I stand by.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a professional model and actress. I am most excited about how far I’ve came since the day I started and the great people I’ve met along the way. It was not an easy road, I’ve overcame so many challenges along the way. I’ve had many nights I would lay in my bed and just cry myself to sleep because I thought I wasn’t good enough for this industry. I’ve got turned down by so many agencies before I got that one yes and I swear that’s all I ever needed, I’ve been applying pressure ever since. I’ve lost so many “friends” in this journey because they wanted to compete rather than working together. Being in this industry will teach you many lessons but the biggest lesson I’ve learned was to never give up even when you want to. I want the world to know that I’m not done yet and i’m going to continue being a success story.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my Bestfriend was visiting I would take them to the mall, the trap museum, bowling, skating we can eat at frost bistro their food is AMAZING! I would introduce my bestie to the amazing people I’ve met in this industry, relax at home, try a few lounges.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are so many people in my life that has help me get too where I am now. My mom has been there from the beginning helping me with the long nights, the tears and preparing me for every show and audition. My family and friends with the continuous support will never go unnoticed. Last but not least my dad was my cheerleader he wanted the best for me in every way possible I wish he was still alive to see how far I’ve come.
