We had the good fortune of connecting with Wade Burnside and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Wade, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The reason I wanted to become an entrepreneur is because of the wanting to get paid by doing what I love. Being able to set your own hours, helping others, and creating something from nothing is amazing to me.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am excited by the growth that we as a company are experiencing. Seeing the start of Expensive Global and where we are at today is amazing to me. The adversities that I faced make the growth all worth while. I know in the future that our company will be a huge movement in the music industry. The whole ordeal with Expensive Global has been challenging. Losing my business partner and Co-Founder Jared Clark has made this hard. At times I wanted to quit music and get a 9 to 5 but God has kept me in this. I realized the blessing in having a successful Music Agency. I learned patience, perseverance, and focus building up this company. Those qualities are necessary to be ultimately successful. They are also important in any bodies personal development.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Being between LA and Atlanta, there are many areas around both cities I would refer or show to a friend. In LA I would take them to Malibu and Santa Monica, the views of the Pacific Ocean is magnificent. The first food spot I would take them to Roscoes Chicken & Waffles in LA and Flying Biscuit in Atlanta. Then in Atlanta I would take the guest to The World Of Coke. I also like take guest to the Wealthy parts of each city. For instance Beverly Hills and Calabasas in California and Buckhead as well as Dunwoody in Georgia. Since I live in the studio, studios in both cities are a must. In LA Paramount Studios and Patchwerk in Atlanta.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate this shoutout to my Mother and her non-profit Phenomenal Women. She deserve all the credit for my success and her own
