Meet Nikeem Quinn-Jenkins

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nikeem Quinn-Jenkins and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nikeem, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
The values that matter most to me are integrity, empathy, and understanding. Integrity guides my actions I believe in doing what’s right, even when no one is watching. It builds trust and defines character. Empathy allows me to connect with others on a deeper level, to truly listen and care about their experiences. And understanding is what bridges differences it helps me remain open-minded, patient, and willing to see from someone else’s perspective. Together, these principles shape how I treat others and how I navigate life.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a personal trainer and Pilates instructor, but more than that I see myself as a guide helping others reconnect with their strength, discipline, and self-worth. My journey to this point hasn’t been easy. It’s been a road paved with challenges, many of which stemmed from moments where my integrity was tested by environments or people who didn’t value it. But I chose to keep showing up as myself, with honesty, with empathy, and with consistency.
What sets me apart isn’t just how I train the body, but how I speak to the spirit of the people I work with. I bring both structure and soul to my coaching, helping my clients not only transform physically but also build a mindset that supports long-term change.
I’m most proud of staying true to myself through it all. The lessons I’ve learned about patience, perseverance, and trusting the process have shaped my entire approach. I want the world to know that this work is personal for me. It’s not just about fitness it’s about self-respect, resilience, and becoming the strongest version of yourself from the inside out. That’s what my brand stands for, and that’s the energy I carry into every session.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting Atlanta for a week, I’d make sure they experienced the full vibe of the city equal parts culture, food, fun, and relaxation.
Day 1 – Welcome to the A
We’d kick things off with brunch at Toast on Lenox great vibes and even better food. From there, we’d stroll through Piedmont Park to get a feel for the city’s heartbeat, then head to Ponce City Market to shop, chill on the rooftop, and maybe catch sunset views over a cocktail.
Day 2 – Culture & History
We’d dive into Black excellence at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, then walk over to the Atlanta BeltLine to check out the murals and grab a bite at Krog Street Market. Evening would be a chill night at Cafe Circa or Parlor for great music and a grown vibe.
Day 3 – ATL Essentials
Gotta hit Slutty Vegan because you can’t come to Atlanta and not try it. Then maybe a drive through the historic Sweet Auburn District, and later, catch a Trap Music Museum tour or a show at The Fox Theatre if something’s playing.
Day 4 – Fitness & Wellness
We’d start with one of my Pilates classes or hit a group workout at Ferris Fitness, then grab smoothies at Juiceheads ATL. A relaxing spa treatment at Jeju Sauna or Treat Your Feet would be a must.
Day 5 – Outside Vibes
We’d head out to Stone Mountain for a hike and panoramic views, followed by some time at Lake Lanier or Chattahoochee River for kayaking or tubing if the weather’s right.
Day 6 – Nightlife & Foodie Adventure
Dinner at Marcel or The Garden Room for an upscale night, followed by lounge vibes at Suite Lounge, Red Martini, or Rock Steady for dancing and a dope crowd.
Day 7 – Chill & Reflect
End the trip with coffee and pastries at Reverie Coffee & Wine, maybe some quiet time at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, then dinner at South City Kitchen a perfect blend of Southern comfort and refinement.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my late grandmother, who passed away just two days before Mother’s Day. Her presence, love, and wisdom shaped the very foundation of who I am today. She taught me strength through grace, how to lead with love, and how to stand firm in my values no matter what life brings. Her words still echo in my decisions, and her spirit continues to guide me every step of the way. Losing her was a deep pain, but her influence lives on in me and it’s because of her that I strive every day to be the best version of myself. This shoutout is for her: the heart of our family, and the reason I walk with purpose.
