Meet Leticia Andrade

We had the good fortune of connecting with Leticia Andrade and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Leticia, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The biggest factor behind my success has honestly been connection. I genuinely care about the people I work with, and I think that shows in everything I do. It’s not just about taking a nice photo, it’s about making someone feel comfortable, confident, and truly seen. I want every session to feel like an experience, not just a photoshoot. When people feel that, they come back, they tell others, and that’s what’s helped my brand grow – real relationships and showing up with heart.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is all about connection. I use portrait photography to tell real, honest stories, whether it’s capturing someone’s confidence, vulnerability, or transformation. What sets me apart is the experience I create. It’s not just about beautiful images, it’s about making people feel seen, celebrated, and empowered. I work with both women and men, helping them connect to who they are and show up confidently in their personal or professional lives.
Getting here definitely wasn’t easy. There were seasons of doubt, starting over, balancing family life, and figuring out how to build a business that felt aligned with who I am. But every challenge pushed me to grow. I learned that consistency, community, and staying true to your purpose matter more than anything.
I want people to know that my brand is rooted in my love for people. I care deeply about creating a space where my clients feel safe, where they can express themselves and feel proud of who they are. My story is still unfolding, but every portrait I take is a reminder of why I started – to connect, to uplift, and to celebrate people just as they are.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Some of my favorite places to go in Atlanta are Ponce City Market for food and fun shopping, The BeltLine is a beautiful experience to connect with the local community and enjoy the restaurants and activities around it, I love music and festivals so I am always up for the events at Piedmont Park. I never get tired of visiting the High Museum and the Botanical Garden. I also love walking around Little Five Points for its cool, artsy energy.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My parents and my sister have always been my biggest support. I’m also so grateful for my community, friends, clients, and Sue Bryce, my mentor, who gave me the courage to own my voice and believe I could create the business I dreamed of.
