Meet Alexis Williams

Today we’re excited to be connecting with Alexis Williams again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.
Alexis , thanks for joining us again. Just to level set a bit for folks who may have missed our last interview together, can you briefly introduce yourself?
Hi y’all!!
I am Alexis Williams, beauty and marketing entrepreneur in Atlanta, GA. I am the owner of Head Quarters Hair Clinic and work as a marketing professor at Chattahoochee Technical College. And just when you thought my plate was already full, I thrive as a yoga instructor, leading thought provoking, body relaxing yoga sessions.
What sets me apart is my dedication to myself, my craft, and my community. I have been in my professional career for 20 years, mainly because I was hell bent on living a life that I was excited about. And lived it, I did. My community is

Great, so let’s jump into an update on what you have been up to since we last spoke. What can you share with us?
2025 started with so much electricity! I started my transition from hairstyling into full time marketing education with Chattahoochee Technical College. Working there is so much fun and it fits with my lifestyle so well. The students are amazing and I am creating more opportunities for the students to strengthen their skills and gain needed experience under careful wings. I opened my next business, Virtual Temp Agency, as a career path consultant. We are bringing empowering workshops to different communities to bridge the gap in the hiring process. We are community focused and ready to serve growing businesses.
We are starting with the Work Life Presence Workshops, designed to empower the entrepreneur and help them organize their life. Often when we are disorganized, we aren’t taking full advantage of our strengths trying to overcompensate for our weaknesses. Work Life Presence is about being HERE, headspace, Emotions/Energy, Resources, and Environment. We are going to break down each layer and fill in the gaps. With that type of clarity, we can manage our lives in a way that brings joy and empowers the community also. Check out the first class on February 2, 2025! Here’s the link to register! What are you most excited about in the coming year?
I am transitioning!!! In every way this year! First, I am opening a new business!!! The Virtual Temp Agency is a partnership of mine that will totally shift Next Gen’s career paths. I want to create a bridge for small businesses and new talent through education and technology. This year we are launching workshops to connect and empower our communities and sharing our dope business model with colleges and graduates. I am so excited to take the hiring process to the next level
Next, I will be buying my first home, with a garden of course. Also, I am closing my hair loss clinic to open a salon suite!! Its time to put all of my passions under one roof. Stylists will have their own space, marketing support, space for workshops and conferences, and even an advertising room with backdrops and lighting.
I am thoroughly excited to expand and retire. When I was in college finishing my masters, each 50-90 page paper due each semester was dedicated to a business plan for my future businesses. As I look back, I was planting seeds for my future, and I can feel these ideas breaking ground.
