Meet Tribe

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tribe and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tribe, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
We’re inspired by the raw, unfiltered essence of life—by the stories that shape us, the struggles that refine us, and the victories that remind us why we do this. We move with the energy of the culture, feeding off the rhythm of our experiences, the depth of our emotions, and the fire of our ambitions.
Bloomfield made us. The streets, the people, the lessons—it all shaped how we see the world. Growing up here teaches you resilience, how to move with intention, and how to find beauty in places most overlook. It sharpens your instincts, expands your perspective, and reminds you that nothing is given, everything is earned. The environment molds your mindset, and for us, that means never folding, never forgetting where we come from, and always pushing forward.
We’re inspired by the late-night studio sessions where ideas turn into anthems, the conversations that challenge us to see beyond ourselves, and the communities that raised us. The legends before us fuel our hunger, but it’s the ones coming after us that keep us pushing forward.
Creativity, authenticity, and connection—those are our pillars. We create not just to be heard, but to be felt. Not just to exist, but to leave something behind.
We are TRIBE. And we’re inspired by our truth and emotions.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Our art is deeply personal yet universal. We create music that feels real—something that lives beyond just sound and taps into emotions, memories, and experiences that people connect with. What sets us apart is our ability to blend raw vulnerability with surreal storytelling. We want our music and visuals to take listeners somewhere—whether it’s a dreamlike space or a moment that feels too real to ignore. Our sound is a mix of everything that shaped us, from classics “Everybody Loves the Sunshine” by Roy Ayers to newer vibes like Might Delete Later by J. Cole, however, we are always bettering our sound and giving it our own signature twist.
Right now, we’re most excited about LøverBøi our very first full length project under R1 Records. This is a moment where we feel like we’re pushing our artistry further than ever before—whether it’s through sound, visuals, or the overall experience we’re crafting. It’s not just about making music; it’s about creating a world people can step into and feel something real.
Getting here wasn’t easy. The journey has been full of highs and lows, moments of doubt, and times where we questioned everything even with each other, But every setback taught me resilience. One of the biggest lessons we’ve learned is that success isn’t about waiting for opportunities—it’s about creating them. We had to learn how to move with intention, build the right relationships, and trust our vision even when the path wasn’t clear. Also don’t be afraid to lose people on your journey it’s very necessary to have people who push you to grow around and not see you stuck on the ground.
What we want the world to know is that this isn’t just music to us—it’s storytelling, it’s healing, it’s something bigger than ourselves. Our brand and art is built on authenticity, and we want people to feel that every time they hear a song, watch a video, or experience a performance. We are here to leave an impact and legacy to create something timeless.
So if you’re just discovering us, welcome to the world we’re building. There’s so much more to come
Welcome to the TRIBE
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If our homies were in town, we’d take them to some of our favorite spots to really show them what’s up. We’d kick things off with breakfast at Mother’s Breakfast and BBQ—the food’s solid, and it’s got that perfect Southern vibe. Or if we’re in the mood for coffee and a chill vibe, Z Beans is the move.
For lunch or dinner, Stevie B’s is where we’d go for pizza—it’s low-key, but the pies are on point. Saleem’s is another spot I love for its famous fish sandwiches and amazing homemade sauce. We’ll also put them on to some seriously good Indian and Mediterranean food. If we’re feeling BBQ, Greenwood BBQ has some of the best smoky mac and cheese and chicken in town. And for a casual vibe, we’d hit up Fatty’s Pizza for a laid-back, no-fuss slice, especially after dabbling in the nightlife—only the ones from Macon know what that means (lol).
These places showcase the best of the local flavor—good food, good vibes, and a lot of character. It’d be a week full of great eats and even better hangouts.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Man, there’s no way we could take this journey alone. First and foremost, we have to shout out God our Mother, Father, family and close friends—the people who have been there through every high and low, pushing us to keep going even when doubt crept in. They’ve seen us at our best and worst, and their belief in us has never wavered. That kind of love and support is priceless.
We also have to acknowledge the creatives we’ve been blessed to work with—people like [Reese, Vinson, Olin, India, etc.]—who inspire us to push our artistry further. Collaboration is everything in this industry, and we wouldn’t be where we are without the energy and passion of those around us. It’s one thing to have talent, but having a community/family that challenges and sharpens your craft? That’s a game-changer. Huge big ups to Reese Soul our engineer for making us sound dope and arranging all the music we do he’s the real MVP. (lol)
Beyond the personal connections, we have to give credit to the artists and stories that shaped us—the ones who made us feel something deeper and showed us what’s possible through music. Books like [insert any book] or even just real-life experiences have shaped my perspective and the way I express myself through sound and storytelling.
And honestly, the biggest shoutout has to be the people who listen. The ones who connect with our music, who resonate with the emotions, the messages, and the moments we try to capture through the experiences we’ve had. That’s what keeps us going. That’s what makes all the long nights, the sacrifices, and the challenges worth it. So this shoutout is for everyone who has played a part, big or small, in our journey—whether they know it or not.
Lastly, I’d love to think the Redding family for their support and spirits, the space they’ve created in the city of Macon for young people is insane. An energy that was started by Otis Redding himself and carried on by his wife Zelma Redding and her children and grandchildren is wonderful if anyone has time stop by the Otis Redding Museum in Macon or the Otis Redding Center for the Arts and see a amazing legacy that’s being carried out and exemplified by some wonderful people.
