We had the good fortune of connecting with Christopher Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christopher, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
When I was young, my mom had a Canon 60D that she used for sports photography. I loved taking the camera out to snap pictures, but it was always just for fun. After high school, my family took a five-week trip out west, and on a whim, I decided to vlog the entire journey. I had no real experience with videography—just bits and pieces I’d picked up from YouTube.

Up until then, I never thought of myself as a creative person. But through making those vlogs, I fell in love with capturing life in a way that felt unique—seeing the world through a lens rather than just my eyes. That experience ignited my passion for filmmaking.

I’ve always had an entrepreneurial mindset, and once I realized I could build a career with a camera, I went all in—learning everything I could about cameras, lighting, storytelling, and business. I didn’t start my own business right away, but that trip was the beginning of my creative journey.

Looking back, my younger self never would have imagined me here. But I’m beyond grateful to have found something I’m deeply passionate about—something that excites me every day while also allowing me to support myself. I’ve become completely obsessed. It’s been an incredible ride.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’ve been highly blessed with opportunities to professionally interview CEO’s, business owners, coaches, professional athletes and politicians that have helped me learn and grow in all areas of my life. This has significantly refined my communication skills.

I’m thankful to have men in my life when I was younger that taught me the importance of a strong work ethic. “Good things come to those who work for it”, something that’s replayed in my mind since I was a kid. Having these values instilled in me, I can guarantee is that I will always work my hardest, especially when it comes to filmmaking. It’s not always easy, and entrepreneurship has many ups and downs, but I will always continue to put my best foot forward and work my hardest. That’s just how I was raised.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned throughout my career is that losses are lessons. Losses can only be valuable if you turn them into teaching moments. I strive to do that every day, as I’m not a perfect business owner, yet. However, as I continue to fail, learn, and get back up, I will only improve in every area of my life. Resilience is key in this industry.

I’m passionate about people. I want to listen, learn, understand, communicate, connect, and share. I’m here to add value and help. My passion and love for this industry runs so deep I will always seek new opportunity to grow, learn, and create some amazing videos.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love the outdoors. Piedmont Park is my first stop every time. With a good mix of city scape and greenery, it’s a beautiful environment to get fresh air.

I love to eat, so I’d probably need to make a quick stop at The Bando for the best wings in Atlanta (they are absolutely killing it with their marketing too btw!!)

They say creatives should wear all black, but I like to pop out a bit on set. So after I get a bite to eat, I gotta do some shopping. Depending on the weather and vibes, I’ll either go to Atlantic Station (gotta hit the Nike store) or Ponce City Market. I’m also a big thrifter, but I can’t give away my go-to spots.

Even though it’s a bit obvious, Jackson Street Bridge is a nice place to watch the sunset and get some cool shots, it’s also a fire spot to see the skyline.

If the vibes are super right, I gotta go to MJQ’s. They have a special place in my heart.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
When I moved to Atlanta, I jumped straight into networking with other creatives. Early on, my guy Jonsey Films of Jonsey Film Productions gave me an opportunity, and we’ve been locked in ever since. If it weren’t for OU, he might not have taken a chance on me.

Starting fresh in a new city wasn’t easy, but Jonsey played a huge role in helping me establish myself, build my business, and grow my clientele. We’ve collaborated on numerous projects, not just in Atlanta but across the U.S., and I’m incredibly grateful for his guidance and support.

Beyond the work, I’m thankful to call Jonsey a friend and a key part of my creative circle. He’s introduced me to an amazing group of creatives, and I’m excited for what our team will continue to accomplish together.
