Meet Dr. Eseosa Guobadia Walker | Real Estate Professional & Doctor of Physical Therapy

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Eseosa Guobadia Walker and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dr. Eseosa, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I decided to go into the Real Estate business because I have 3 young children I homeschooled. My 1st job is being a mother to my children. I needed something flexible, rewarding, and something I had some passion for. I do have a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, and still go in from time to time to do consults in the hospital. I’ve always had a love for real estate, and thought, why not? Why not give it a try? I’m so grateful that I went for it…and now I am glad to say, I am now one of Atlanta’s Top 10% Producing Realtors. I’ve been recognized every year since I entered the field. For that, I am grateful.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My career is very rewarding…being in position to guide and walk people through one of the biggest purchases of their life is an honor I do not take lightly. My strategy for success is simple. Treat people with love and respect. Due to the nature of the business, challenges will definitely arise. I make sure I stay level headed and use a graceful approach to handle all situations. My priority are my clients. I make sure they feel heard, no matter what. Their feelings matter. I am also one of the most organized, diligent and persistent people you will ever meet. Those who know me, know that I will do my best to get the job done, in due time, ethically.
Real estate transactions are meant to be an amazing journey that involves both the buyers and the sellers. I always approach the other party as I do my client….with Grace and Respect. I look at the whole transaction process as a union of both parties, not a competition…I have the mindset that both agents are coming together to WIN for our clients, making sure the process is smooth and that both sides come out of this transaction with a big smile.
As you know, my 1st trade and still is a very important part of my life, is my healthcare profession of being a Doctor of Physical Therapy. I’ve cleverly incorporated it into real estate, by offering all clients a Complimentary Wellness or Physical Therapy Consultation and a Home/Equipment Safety Assessment….hence ATL Real Estate Doctor was born.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’ve recently visited Chateau Elan., which is north of the city actually, Metro Atlanta. It has everything that I like of course. A Spa, Hotel, Dining, Golf, Winery are just a few of what they have to offer. I’ve also recently just started learning the game of Golf, and enjoyed my Golf Tee Time with my girlfriends during my last visit there. It really makes for a nice staycation with friends, a significant other or for a family. It’s lovely, most of all serene. The views are beautiful.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shout out to 1st and foremost, to my God. Without him, nothing is possible. There are a few people I would also like to thank for their encouragement and continued love and support during my transition into this career. My parents, my husband, my preferred real estate partners, and most importantly, my children. They are my driving force. I thank them for their on going grace while juggling both jobs, real estate and motherhood. This business can be demanding at times…but all that I do is for them.
