Meet Nomad No Home | Producer-Audio Engineer-Artist-Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nomad No Home and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nomad, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
One of the biggest decisions that contributed to my success was running my own home studio while I was in Virginia and carrying that experience with me to other studios. Having a space where artists could consistently record their songs not only helped me refine my craft but also allowed me to build a strong client base. More than just providing a service, I focused on creating an environment where people felt comfortable, supported, and inspired to make great music. That sense of hospitality and community set me apart.
By having an open creative space, I was able to connect with more artists, which led to recognition in performance competitions. Ironically, it was through one of these competitions that I earned my first trip to Atlanta as an artist. Looking back, my willingness to stay ahead of the curve and consistently push myself forward in the market played a huge role in my success. I’m grateful for the chances I took because they opened doors I never imagined.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My Creative Journey: From Sound to Storytelling
Music has always been at the core of who I am. My journey started at six years old when I first sat at a piano, unaware of the path it would set me on. Learning to sight-read was just the beginning; before long, I was playing by ear and eventually recognizing perfect pitch. These early moments shaped my deep connection to music, opening doors to creative exploration and inspiring me to compose and produce across multiple genres.
One of the first things that captivated me was sampling—the idea of taking existing sounds and transforming them into something completely new. It was in those moments that I realized music wasn’t just about playing notes; it was about blending worlds, shaping rhythms, and creating something unique.
For most of my early production years, my creative playground was Audiotool—a free, cloud-based software that introduced me to the fundamentals of sound design. Even now, I credit Audiotool for teaching me how to manipulate sound, how effects can shape an auditory landscape, and how signal chains create rich, immersive textures. The fact that I could access all of this knowledge and experimentation at no cost made it even more powerful.
As my passion grew, I took the next step and invested in a Scarlett interface, diving into recording and engineering my own music with FL Studio. That transition opened up an entirely new world—not just as a producer but as an engineer. I became obsessed with refining my craft, teaching myself through what I call “YouTube University.” After months of experimenting and refining my sound, I released my first single, Atlantis, through DistroKid, marking the true beginning of my journey as an independent artist.
But it wasn’t a smooth road. Mastering FL Studio, understanding how to market myself, and navigating the competitive nature of the industry took years of trial and error. Coming from an environment where artists would perform and leave without supporting one another, I had to push past that mindset. I realized that success isn’t just about being seen—it’s about authenticity, connection, and providing real value to the community. Over time, I found fulfillment not only in making music but also in working behind the scenes, supporting others, and contributing to the industry in ways I never imagined.
A turning point came when I picked up a camera. Suddenly, my world expanded beyond sound into visual storytelling. What started as curiosity quickly became an essential part of my creative expression. Working with Blackmagic cameras and exploring cinematography changed my perspective, allowing me to bring my music to life through film. The ability to merge sound and visuals gave my artistry a new dimension—one that continues to push my creativity forward.
Beyond music and film, I also ventured into fashion, launching my clothing brand, Nomadic. Though currently undergoing restructuring, the process of building a brand has been a direct extension of my artistic journey. Fashion, like music and film, is another way I express my philosophy of embracing freedom, authenticity, and creativity. The skills I’ve developed and the vision I’ve crafted will serve as the foundation for future projects, both as an artist and entrepreneur.
At the heart of everything I do is my core philosophy: Stay Nomadic. It’s more than a slogan—it’s a way of life. Life is unpredictable, filled with highs, lows, and unexpected turns. But the key is to embrace those moments, adapt, and keep moving forward. Whether I’m at my peak or feeling lost, I remind myself that growth comes from the journey, not just the destination. Staying nomadic means refusing to be defined by struggles or success—it’s about evolving, learning, and staying true to the path ahead.
Looking back, I feel incredibly grateful for how far I’ve come. From that kid playing piano at six to the artist, engineer, and filmmaker I am today, every experience—every challenge—has shaped me. Now, as I continue navigating my journey in Los Angeles, I’m focused on learning, growing, and pushing my creative boundaries even further. The road hasn’t always been easy, but I wouldn’t trade this journey for anything.
And the best part? This is only the beginning.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m a bit of a history buff, so every time I visit Atlanta, my first stop is always the heart of the city. I love hopping on an e-bike to visit Martin Luther King Jr.’s childhood home, taking in the rich history that shaped so much of our world. And of course, I can’t leave without grabbing some sweet peanut brittle—it’s a must!
For food, The Varsity is always on my list. Nothing beats a classic meal there, topped off with one of their legendary shakes. And if you’re looking for a great experience, I highly recommend catching a Braves game! Fun fact: the first MLB game I ever attended was Atlanta’s 2013 season opener—an unforgettable experience. Go Braves!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to take a moment to shout out my parents. From the very beginning, they’ve been my biggest supporters, encouraging me ever since I first started playing piano. They made sure I had opportunities to grow by putting me in music camps, getting me trained in music theory, and helping me develop a creative mindset early on. I’m incredibly grateful and blessed to have had that foundation. Instead of having to search for opportunities on my own, I had a support system that placed me in the right spaces to learn, evolve, and eventually make things happen for myself.
Just last week, I attended NAMM, marking the start of a new chapter in my journey. It really reinforced how important a strong support system is. In this industry, it’s easy to fall short when people just take and take—you have to set boundaries and recognize what’s truly helping you grow versus what’s holding you back.
My father has financially supported me, making sure I have the resources to keep pushing forward, while my mother is always there to consult with me, giving me that extra boost of confidence and assurance that I can take on anything I set my mind to. Without that support, this road would be a lot harder. The right mindset is everything—without it, I’d be moving through this industry in survival mode instead of thriving with purpose.
