Meet Justin Epstein: President of PREMIER, Host of Culturation

We had the good fortune of connecting with Justin Epstein and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Justin, how do you think about risk?
I don’t associate risk in the same way as others may. As an entrepreneur, I believe the biggest risk is not trying. So while for some people that word may be scary, for me it’s exciting and a challenge I welcome. As they say, there is no reward without risk. Without risk, I would not have founded my agency, PREMIER, created my podcast, Culturation™ or participated in ultra-marathons, among many other ventures.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
PREMIER is a full-service PR and creative agency comprised of brand curators that specialize in building relationships and integrated marketing strategies on behalf of companies and brands. We pride ourselves in being a true extension of a brand, utilizing our extensive knowledge on creative design, local and national trends, and our network to tailor strategies for each individual client’s needs. I always wanted to be an entrepreneur and started the company over ten years ago in an effort to control my destiny, work with cool brands and be able to wear sneakers to work everyday. It’s evolved into more than just a business, but rather has become a lifestyle where my team and I have the ability to create, dream and innovate on multiple verticals with our clients. At PREMIER, we have 7 principles we live by. While they all have a significant impact and meaning, the one that resonates with me the most is “People Over Profit”. Relationships are my currency and I think that’s what has really provided us with the most success with relation to where we are today.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When it comes to places to eat and drink in the city, there are some truly amazing options as we’re fortunate enough to live in a city like Atlanta. Some of the spots I frequent and would want my guests to experience first-hand would include 10 Degrees South, Yebo, La Grotta, Rumi’s Kitchen and Gio’s. As for destinations, I would definitely take them to the High Museum to experience the art, the Atlanta Beltline to enjoy the outdoors, and an Atlanta United match for a really memorable experience.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my wife, Kara Epstein, and my team at PREMIER for their support, guidance and insight.
