We had the good fortune of connecting with Patty Jackson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Patty, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The thought process behind starting Cobachi C.R.E.A.M. was driven by a combination of passion, experience, and a desire to innovate. As a former math teacher, I saw the potential to integrate educational concepts with a business model, particularly through our STEAM classes that teach math using ice cream. My love for unique and high-quality desserts inspired the creation of our distinctive product lineup, including innovative ice cream flavors, alcohol-infused ice cream, bread pudding, and sweet potato cheesecake. Recognizing a gap in the market for such unique offerings, I envisioned a brand that not only delights customers with its products but also engages the community through education and interactive experiences. The goal was to create a business that stands out in the crowded food industry, fosters community connections, and contributes to a positive social impact.

What should our readers know about your business?
Cobachi CREAM began in 2021 as a pop-up festival business in the Suwanee area of Gwinnett. Founded by a former 6th-grade math teacher, we quickly became a community favorite by offering innovative ice cream experiences, including rolled ice cream, prepackaged treats, and gourmet desserts. Our unique selling point is our alcohol-infused ice cream flavors and STEAM ice cream classes, which make math fun for kids.

Partnering with a local business that lacked desserts, we’ve served our ice cream in a pop-up capacity every weekend since 2021, building a loyal customer base through free samples and engaging events. In 2022, we expanded into catering services, further broadening our reach.

Cobachi CREAM is more than just ice cream; it’s a celebration of flavor, culture, and community. Join us as we continue to redefine the ice cream experience.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely! I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my dad, who has been my number one supporter from the very beginning. Every weekend, he is out there with me, selling ice cream, helping make desserts, and carrying all the heavy supplies and coolers. His relentless marketing efforts and constant promotion of my brand have been invaluable. His support, love, and dedication have played a crucial role in the success of Cobachi C.R.E.A.M., and I couldn’t have come this far without him. Thank you, Dad, for everything you do!
