We had the good fortune of connecting with Dominic Pritham and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dominic, how does your business help the community?
A responsible health and wellness app plays a critical role in society. It informs, builds habits and sustains good practices. It should leverage technology to customize, plan and address various niches within the fitness space.
BragHumble is not your typical fitness app. The focus is on the user and not a video based content. Using camera based vision A.I. , the app is able to identify a proper rep and count it. Further more, it has all the essential pieces of a traditional bootcamp workout tailored for an at-home workout. There are timers, audio cues, buzzers and at the end of the workout, all your reps and sets are journaled.
This empowers the user to understand the various exercises in the workout, build the habit of tracking their work and has various social interactions to sustain the habit of physical activity.
Physical activity is proven to improve overall mood, productivity, depression, anxiety and future health related expenses. BragHumble is in the center of this with its advanced vision A.I. leading the way in self and social accountability. It also solves the problem of journaling and tracking progress which was until now a manual process.
I am a strong believer in an individual’s improvement improves the overall health of society. As Gandhi said, ““Our greatest ability as humans is not to change the world, but to change ourselves.”
BragHumble not only solves physical fitness but has the technology to help in physical therapy by using its vision A.I. to inform both patients and providers with insight that was previously unavailable.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
BragHumble is a self and social accountable fitness app. You can only publish workouts you actually do with the reps and sets you actually did, thanks to its advanced camera based vision A.I. This is the biggest differentiator. Today, every fitness app is a video of an instructor talking and demonstrating the exercise. BragHumble turns the focus on the user. It helps the user understand their current capabilities better, thereby allowing them to focus on where they want to be.
Journaling is important to achieving your goals. If we want to do well in tests and exams, we take practice tests and determine where we currently are and what it would take to reach our goal. We do that with finances by understanding our current expenses and planning around it. We do that when preparing for a marathon. So why not do it for workouts. Why not understand what our current baseline for pushups (as an example) are and what is it going to take to get to a 100 pushups. Or figure out how long it would take to do 100 burpees and try to reduce that time every week. How else can one measure progress or lack thereof.
I am most proud of the accuracy that BragHumble offers in its A.I. model. It has come a long way and has a long way to go but I am confident that advancements will continue to happen and challenges overcome.
To get to where I am took a lot of sleepless nights of coding, constantly thinking about ways to overcome technical challenges, product market fit and figuring out customer needs. It wasn’t easy but very enjoyable nonetheless.
The most important lesson I have learned is to not give up. There is always a way forward as long as you keep chipping away at the challenge in front of you.
I would like for the world to know that everyone can leverage technology to improve their mental and physical health through physical activity. Data driven approach and self accountability is a huge factor in achieving health and fitness goals.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Atlanta is a beautiful city with lots of fun things to do for all ages.I would start the week at SummerHill, grab a coffee at The Little Tart Bakeshop or a softie from Big Softie. Across the street there are restaurants around an outdoor seating area where one could get a drink, a Pizza or a barbecue. Then make your way to the bike friendly neighborhood or Edgewood, Kirkwood and Oakhurst and ride bicycles. Stop by the Pullman Yards to catch a game of Pickleball.

From there make your way to Candler Park, grab something at Flying Biscuits and continue on to the Old Fourth Ward through Freedom Park.

This is my favorite part of the city. Put on your running shoes. Its time to get on the beltline.

The east beltline is a great place to run, walk, shop, workout, skate and even fly a kite.

Depending on what is going on in Piedmont park, you could spend some time there, or go inside Ponce City Market or Krog Street for food and drink. If you do end up in Krog Street, you have to stop by Revolution Doughnuts which is a short walk from Krog Street.

There are some interesting bars on Edgewood Ave that are laid back and casual and make sure to grab a King slice from Edgewood Pizzeria. The Local is a famous wings spot. If you visit it, plan to hit up MJQ and wear your dancing shoes.

In Midtown Atlanta, grab a show at the Fox Theater. They host Broadway shows, stand up comedy and music. Swing by Cafe Intermezzo for some unique coffee and cheesecake.

Colony square is another great spot to try new food in a food hall setting. They also have great restaurants and a speak easy bar. The Vortex is an Atlanta institution. It has some great burgers. Check out their stand-up comedy club, The Laughing Skull. Some very funny comedians stop by there and the vibe is chill.

Any trip to Atlanta will not be complete without going to Buford Highway for authentic Chinese, Korean, southeast Asian and Mexican food. There are plenty of great options to choose from. My favorite is Food Terminal.

The westside of midtown is home to, TopGolf, escape rooms, mini golf and one of my favorite bars, Ormsby’s.

The Battery Atlanta is fun with live music venues, food, bars and lot of things to do. State Farm arena and Mercedes-Benz Stadium both host events, live music and of course, sports.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are so many people who have impacted my life. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am. My parents who raised, educated and allowed me to be myself. My wife who supports my dreams, encourages me, gives me feedback, uses the product, tests and gives me feature requests.
David Goggins for writing his books and helping me understand how to push boundaries. Andrew Ng for his Machine Learning and Deep Learning courses online.
I am also thankful for the vast app store infrastructure support of Google and Apple. Communities like Stack Overflow, Github forum, Google and Apple forums have been a life saver and I appreciate the power of the internet bringing experts together.
