We had the good fortune of connecting with Chris Rucker and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chris, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I really love pro wrestling and getting to talk to the wrestlers and other fans about it.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
We are a pro wrestling podcast. What sets us apart from others is, we try to not be so inside. We are just a couple of fans that want our show to sound more like two friends at a bar discussing the latest in their favorite sport. We argue, we agree, we laugh and we complain. Getting started was easy, but being successful isn’t. I still wouldn’t say we are successful, but that’s the goal. That’s what keeps us trying to get better every week. The lessons I’ve learned are to not try to be someone you’re not. Be yourself and do good work. It takes time when you’re not a celebrity or former wrestler, and to just keep at it. We have made so many friends along the way that we could go to random cities for wrestling shows and have plenty of people to watch with. It’s been very rewarding with the relationships we have made. The thing I’d like the world to know about B2TF is all wrestlers are welcome. We aren’t trying to be shock jocks, we want them to feel comfortable on our show and I feel we have done that with the guests we have had so far. And also, that we are just two friends talking wrestling. We don’t try to be inside baseball and talk about backstage things, we talk about what we see.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would def hit a Braves game and The Battery, since I’m 5 minutes from it. I would have to take them to the Local on Ponce for the best wings in Atlanta. The Painted Duck is somewhere that is so cool and different as far as getting to it. Actually took a couple of my Canadian buddies there when they visited. For some Irish food we would have to hit Olde Blind Dog in Milton. Best Rueben egg rolls around. And we would have to float the Chatahoochee. A round of golf at Crystal Falls golf club would also be a must. Atlanta has so many different things to check out it just depends on the person. Brunch at Goldbergs would def be another spot to stop at.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Shoutout to my family. They have been very supportive while I’ve taken the time to start this podcast and all the work that went into it. The artist of Boot 2 The Face, JD Hoop. Best in the biz when it comes to art. The soundtrack to B2TF, Mr. Chaos and all the great work he’s done for us. My former Co-host Marty who helped me get this show off the ground and do great things the first 125 plus episodes. My current Co-host EJ, who is getting better and better at podcasting and creating. My kids. My girlfriend, Tabitha, who puts up with me doing random interviews and shows throughout the week. All the listeners of B2TF. Full Press Coverage who put us on their website when nobody else would give us a chance. And to the wrestlers we’ve talked to, specifically: Mickie James, Lisa Marie Varon, SoCal Val, Ashley D’amboise, Heidi Katrina and others. They gave us a shot and have said nothing but positive things about us. If I left anyone out I’m sorry, just know we appreciate you. And to the listeners of B2TF. We couldn’t do it without them with all the interaction and sharing and downloads. Thank you, everyone.
