We had the good fortune of connecting with DESTINY BREWTON and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi DESTINY, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
Family!

I know it sounds cliche but community has been the focal point of my life and finally at 30 I am realizing how important it is to me. I am one of the friends that just pulls up at your house and just bring wine to watch sports, movies, shows etc. Never have to be anything crazy just to be around people I love.

What should our readers know about your business?
Our quality makes us the best in our class along with our mission of promoting the companies we make products for (with their permission of course). We strive to continue the circulation of small business dollars, mostly through black and minority owned businesses. This allows us to connect to new clients by showing off our previous clients.

Being a black woman in the south growing a business, while challenging, has been rewarding. In 2019 I had my daughter premature and she had a two week stay in NICU, while I had to stay for a week recovering from stroke level blood pressure. This unexpected change took a toll on customer retention, service and the ability to bounce back after maternity leave which was longer than expected and I could not reopen until March of 2020. The community we built allowed us to develop new production schedules and strategies that allowed me to not only recover financially but set myself up to scale Q3 and Q4 in 2020 and set up the business to be poured into in 2021.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If we are not at home just drinking wine, my favorite spots in the city are Ponce City Market, Chattahoochee Food Works and anything off the Beltline.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shoutout my husband Maurice.

Going into year 7 of marriage has taught me a lot about partnership and my husband has been my partner throughout my whole entrepreneurial journey. From allowing me to take a break from work to go full time and test out this journey, he has been nothing but supportive, listening ear and biggest cheerleader.
