We had the good fortune of connecting with Ne’Shia Holden and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ne’Shia, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
To begin with, I always have been big on maximizing life and enjoy it before it’s all over. I’m not big on building a dream for someone else while you’re not pouring into yourself. I’ve always seen people work and not enjoy life or have never truly done what they loved. With that being said, I’ve always wanted to be involved with something that doesn’t feel like work. I’m an artist in several aspects and I have no regrets ! I’m an actress, hairstylist, and artist. I hand paint wine glasses and host sip &paints as well. These are components that make me happy and look at life in a different perspective.
In other words, when I started I wanted to live life doing what I love. I wanted to have the time to live life as well. I wanted unconventional routine for myself . I think that makes things exciting! I also was depleted from jobs and not have the time that I needed for my creative endeavors. I felt often restricted. I want the world to know I existed in such a way. So as time proceeds I work hard to obtain these goals.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I would love to shed light on my recent accomplishments with my art. I have been hosting sip and paints with my business (Shi.Wines) for the last few months and it has warmed my heart like no other. The entire atmosphere when I have had one has been blissful. People have a good time and unlock painting skills they didn’t know they had! I support entrepreneurship, networking, art appreciation, and relaxation. I have been building my wine glass business for almost three years now and it has been challenging. I believe keeping faith and knowing where I want to be longevity wise helps me push through everything. I feel when you know where you’re heading you want to get there by any means. . I want the world to know my brand is authentic, colorful , carefully detailed , and here to stay!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Alright, you say my best friend and I have a week long of fun upon us ? So with that in mind; I think our week would go something like this:

Sunday : Sunday funday at Views ATL

Monday: Hike Stone Mountain

Tuesday : see sculptures at ATL botanical garden

Wednesday: Wine down at Apache

Thursday: Go bowling at The Painted Duck

Friday: The High Museum

Saturday: Blaqhaus ATL

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Wow, lately, it’s been the people rooting for me. It’s too many to name but to those that have sent me inspiration, good energy, motivation, gratitude, and so forth. The people really have been excited and inspired and it’s so surreal to me! This motivates me even more.
