We had the good fortune of connecting with Kayla Sanders and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kayla, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
I am a visionary. With being that, I often live in the future by default but for good reasoning. I’m always thinking bigger, better, about longer term goals, you know? My favorite affirmation is, “It get’s greater later!” It’s reassurance for self. I perceive it as being solid; not letting obstacles, issues, current circumstances or anything negative define my destiny or success ahead. It’s about believing in myself and what’s most definitely possible to achieve. It’s something great to look forward to, always. I’m not perfect and things aren’t always perfect but that’s the mindset I stand on. It’s a Pilar of hope & faith. 

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Kayla Sanders LLC | Kayla Sanders Brand is the definition of not limiting yourself. For awhile I struggled with not having a clue of what I wanted. I just knew I wanted everything. How do you narrow that down though? I didn’t know if I was coming or going. After launching a brand prior, it going well, still feeling unsure, taking a hiatus it just hit me. I AM THE BRAND! I am a renaissance woman. Why aim for the sky when it’s like a billion galaxies? I’ve been saying for years now, “I know how to do everything and whatever I don’t I can learn.” This was me reclaiming my time and I’m so proud of that. It’s not easy but I decided to stop being my own worst enemy. I’m still learning and growing. One of the biggest lessons I learned and had to ask myself was, “Do you want to look back at 35/40 and be in the same position or do you to be 35/40 with a thriving empire, building generational wealth Kayla?” All of the fear, shame of failing, procrastinating, distractions had to go. It was a no for me. I truly believe my name will be in lights, in stores, in credits, in warehouses, on clothing, products, just everywhere and apart of everything. I come from humble beginnings but that’s not where I have to remain. Based in Macon and the Atlanta area, some of the key elements of Kayla Sanders, LLC, the brand is creative direction, content curation, fashion styling, consulting, social media marketing and influence overall. The vision of my brand is to add value to women and men by aiding in confidence building & self worth through amazing creative experiences and content services. The mission is to connect with various platforms to allow our freedom of expression to be set free and also be able to become a monetized asset. The energy and midset we exude effects everything in our life including our work. Nothing compares to feeling the best about yourself in all aspects. We can change every narrative. I believe it absolutely gets greater later.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to recognize a few people actually. Novella Smith, India Sanders, Aneisha Johnson, Kayla Dane, Sapario Wright, Jaris Tobler & Asia Brice. These people have stood by me from the very beginning whether I needed encouragement, advice, recommendations, motivation, love, or just a helping hand in general. You don’t forget things like that or at-least I don’t. It doesn’t go unnoticed. I’m very appreciative and blessed to have such positive influences around me. I’m grateful. They come through. If I was on a tv show they’d be my lifelines.
