We had the good fortune of connecting with Fp3 The Legend and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Fp3, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
My favorite quote would have to be “Some of the greatest learned are self taught”, meaning that you can’t truly learn from an experience until you have mastered your own habits and actions. It’s never easy to truly face adversity as every loss isn’t meant to be a loss, some losses have greater purposes to help push you towards your goals and such. What I take from the quote is that you won’t truly understand something’s in life until you experience it firsthand and those are the most meaningful lessons and experiences that can not only help propel you but your peers to new heights.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My music have always come from a genuine and honest place. I’ve been known to use my personal life experiences as inspiration for my songs as well as my very active imagination. Anyone can make a song about being heartbroken or lost at a certain point but not many people have that skill and ability to make the songs topic relatable and I feel that’s all I want my music to be at times. It wasn’t easy to get to this point as I constantly had to fight my own mental and figure things out to see what worked for me and as time and my life progressed I was able to find my own lane and stick to it.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh man coming from NYC I have many great places in mind, for food we’d stop at the legendary juniors restaurant and indulge in some calm dining and topping it off with a slice of their famous cheesecake. For activities we’d hit Times Square as there are many tourist attractions as well as other places to go and explore. Many bars and lounges in Brooklyn to grab a good drink and get some grub as well. It would be a day and night filled with random activities and it would be perfect.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shout out my peers Dtaylurr as he helped me find my way dealing with music and releasing how to market and promote myself, my good friend rellz Hundo, Allen mars, JV, Arthur, and Benji. Also a huge shout out to my boy Chris aka redfish we have some dope content in the works and he’s been grinding for a while now. Last but not least my boy S.C.U.B.A
