Hi Brittany, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When I reflect on the journey that led me to start B. Real Creative Studio, it’s clear that my thought process was shaped by a combination of personal experiences, resilience, and a deep-seated passion for empowering others.

Transitioning from being a stay-at-home mom to a single mom while pursuing my Masters Degree presented me with a series of challenges that required adaptability and determination. These experiences ignited a fire within me to overcome adversity and transform challenges into opportunities for personal growth. I realized the power of resilience and the importance of having a strong support system during difficult times.

The pivotal point came when I faced the aftermath of a divorce and had to rebuild my life. This period of rebuilding not only strengthened my character but also fueled my desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others. I recognized the value of storytelling and design as powerful tools for communication and self-expression, and I wanted to share this realization with others, particularly women facing their own obstacles.

B. Real Creative Studio was born out of the intersection of my passion for storytelling and design, my firsthand understanding of life’s challenges, and my unwavering belief in the strength and resilience that reside within each person. I founded the studio with a mission to empower women, providing them with the tools to rise above their own obstacles and embrace their innate strength.

In essence, my thought process behind starting B. Real Creative Studio was a fusion of personal growth, a commitment to empowering others, and a genuine passion for the transformative power of storytelling and design. I believe that everyone has a unique story to tell, and through my business, I aim to help individuals discover, articulate, and celebrate their authentic narratives.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
B. Real Creative Studio is more than just a business for me—it’s a passion project and a platform dedicated to empowering individuals to authentically express themselves through brand and website design. What sets my studio apart is the unique combination of storytelling and design expertise that I bring to the table. I believe that a brand is more than just a visual identity; it’s a narrative, a story waiting to be told. My coaching services are designed to help individuals uncover and articulate their authentic stories, and my design work translates these narratives into visually compelling and impactful brand identities and websites.

What I am most proud of is the transformative impact B. Real Creative Studio has had on individuals and businesses. Witnessing my clients discover and embrace their unique stories, and then seeing those stories come to life through creative design, is incredibly rewarding. It’s not just about creating a brand; it’s about empowering individuals to confidently share their narratives with the world.

The journey to where I am today has been filled with both challenges and triumphs. Starting and growing a business is rarely easy, and I’ve faced my share of obstacles. One of the key challenges was finding the balance between being a single mom, pursuing my education, and building a business. Time management and prioritization became crucial skills that I honed along the way.

I overcame challenges by cultivating resilience and a growth mindset. Every setback became an opportunity to learn and improve. Seeking mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals in the field also played a pivotal role in navigating the complexities of entrepreneurship.

Some of the key lessons I’ve learned include the importance of staying true to your authentic self, adapting to change, and embracing the learning curve. Building a brand and business is an ongoing process, and the ability to evolve and adapt is essential.

It’s a space where authenticity is celebrated, stories are honored, and individuals are empowered to showcase their uniqueness. My approach goes beyond aesthetics; it’s about creating meaningful connections through design and storytelling. I want people to feel seen, heard, and understood through the brands and websites we co-create.
