Hi Bre, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
My name is Bre Imonie 29, I have been in the hair industry now for 13 years and counting. I received my license at laurel high school in Maryland I graduated top of my class and hit the ground running I worked in salons all types of salons to gain experience, build knowledge, and clientele for about 2 years before I wanted to start my own brand/business working for myself I wanted to make sure I knew the structure of what it takes before stepping out there I got a mentor who brands I admired to help me start taking the steps needed to achieve my goal. Once I started my own salon suite things begin to look up until the pandemic hit and I was forced to shut down during that time not only for me but for a lot of us it hit us hard because our business was the first to go. During that time I used it productively I had more time to do research to fully understand open my brick-in motor and I was successful. Being a business owner whether it’s large or small you have to know whether to keep going or to give up and how you do that is by having faith in your business and understanding why you started regardless of the adversities that may arise building brand confidence is key. You have to network and put yourself in rooms you need to be in to get to the next level so that giving up is never an option or even figuring out whether you should or not shouldn’t be an option for you for your business whether it’s small or large, My E-book will be available May 1st to get early access email me Bresbeautybar@yahoo.com

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Bre’s Beauty Bar is a full-service high-end salon that caters to all thing’s beauty. Our focus as a team is elite Hair Care. we promote and offer on-trend styles at affordable prices with healthy hair being our main goal. We offer color, cuts, relaxers, keratin for natural and relaxed hair, Variety of scalp treatments. We also offer Mink volume lash extensions, Nail services & more. The owner of Bre’s Beauty Bar Salon is licensed, and all staff is licensed cosmetologists and Certified mink Lash Tech. Our staff is fully trained to perform elite services.

My Brand got to where it is today due to my faith in God and my tenacity to never give up no matter how hard it gets. Nothing is easy but if you truly love what you do fulfillment will beat disappointment and or setbacks.

The lesson I’ve learned today was to have good financial literacy in the field you wish to pursue money management is key to a successful business. Learning when to hire helps to take your brand to the next level.

What i would like the world to know about my brand is that it started with little to nothing with just me now I have staff and a team to build up and take to the next level has been my greatest reward.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m located in the DMV area its so much here to do we are the nation’s capital. we can visit downtown dc and see the monuments and historical buildings.
Have brunch at the urban roast, Have a cocktail hour at the park, or Shop at the Galleria.
We can also attend the spring cherry blossom festival that we are known for.
