We had the good fortune of connecting with Lilly-Ana Davila and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lilly-Ana, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
My business is community based. It is a small business event to help motivate, grow, promote, and create small businesses in the community. My business helps many people in our community by providing an opportunity for small businesses to promote themselves to the community. This helps generate more businesses around the area. It is an opportunity for these small businesses to generate sales and customers if they don’t have a brick and mortar store.

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets us apart from others is our focus on Jesus. We are a Christian based small business who always starts our events off with each business owner in a circle holding hands and making a prayer for a great outcome. We got to where we are today because of God and the amazing people we have supporting us. None of this would be possible without our community. It definitely has not been easy but I have learned to have courage and always persevere. Never let hardships drag us down and always keep moving and pushing forward. I overcame many challenges by always believing and instead of sobering over a situation instead being able to turn it into a learning lesson to improve for the next. I have learned that God will always make a way. He will put the right people at the right time.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If a friend were to take a trip to Georgia I would firstly take her to the Cumming Fair. I think it is so nice and would be very fun to ride different things. I would definitely book reservations at the Garden Room in Atlanta. It’s such a beautiful place that everyone could definitely enjoy. Having dinner at Bare Bones sounds so amazing. Their food is definitely so good and so is the service too.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost, this story is dedicated to the small businesses that allows my business to keep going. To the people who have supported me since my very first event. This is for the hardworking, women, men, teens, single parents, first generation people who have been working extremely hard to make a difference in their lives. The people who got here with nothing and are putting their all into something to have everything. Also to Gedeon Rodriguez, who is literally my partner in crime. He always is the one waking up at 6 am to help me with EVERYTHING. Who is always there motivating me and making this all so worth it. Thank you so much for all you do. Also I’m extremely grateful for my family who is a strong support group for me. Even though they might be busy they always find time to stop by and support. Especially my grandparents who are always there for anything. Most importantly thank you to such an amazing community who never fails in supporting all these small businesses. The community always supports to the fullest and allows all this to be possible . Without God none of this would be possible. Thank you God for giving me the courage and strength to never give up and always preserve through this entire journey.

I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. Philippians 4:13
