We had the good fortune of connecting with christa lynch and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi christa, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Part of our core value is: Community conscious—Brooklyn Braised seeks to make a positive impact in the life of every New Yorker, no matter the zip code. We partner with minority and women-owned vendors, as well as lead projects to combat food insecurity.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Brooklyn Braised is a catering concept that leads with sustainability. What sets us apart are our core vales:
Committed to sustainability—Food integrity is at the core of every Brooklyn Braised meal. Our ingredients are seasonal and locally sourced whenever possible.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take my best friend to Cecconi’s Dumbo for dinner as it has a beautiful water view and delicious Northern Italian, Domino Park in Williamsburg along the East River and Las Lap for West Indian inspired cocktails.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
