We had the good fortune of connecting with KENNETH COPELAND and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi KENNETH, what role has risk played in your life or career?
How do I think about risk? Risk is necessary it’s the blood that sustains the body; without risk their would be no Nobel peace prize for poetry or medicine or physics, or the pulitzer prize for music composers. Or in 1903 “The Wright Brothers” who was the pioneers of their time, they created the first aerodynamic flight machine known today as the plane their risk gave us a way to create the aviation system to fly amongst the clouds. Or Elon Musk who created Tesla vehicles which operates by using energy instead of fuel adopting his ideas from the late great Nikola Tesla. What role has taking risk played in my life? By taking risk in my life it showed me a different path, it allowed me to meet different people of culture and ethnicities and explore different places that has broading my horizon and shaped me into the person I’am today. What role has taking risk played in my career? Risk in my career has led me to learn different skills and trades from jobs, coarses I’ve attended or businesses I’ve owned it has helped me piece it all together and use my knowledge to continue3 to build my comapany as the saying goes life is forever changing and I want to be ahead of the curve no matter what life throws at me good or bad I want to be ready. It has also giving me a spark: to contribute back to the community by showing and teaching other entrepreneurs how to become their own ceo, president, or business owner by stepping away from their 9-5 and pursue their god giving talent or passion to live the life they always wanted.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is BB&K Logistics,LLC we are a moving and delivery company, we help clients relocate throughout the united states and canada from commercial to residential our delivery sector we deliver anything from vehicles, appliances, packages, parcels, and high end valuable items. What set me apart from others is my innovative skills i’m able to figure out a solution for the most complicated confusing situations, what i’m most proud about is that I can leave my business and finances to my children and they can leave it for their childrens children. How did I get to where I’am today alot of prayer and sleepless nights; was it easy? no if it was easy everyone would take these extreme risk to build a company or brand. The way I overcame these challenges was a willingness to not except poverty to live the life I want on my terms to make the money I want to make and not make the same mistakes my parents grandparents aunts and uncles made by not leaving the family member who came after them with nothing. The lessons I learned along the way was to take calculated risk, when I was younger in my business I would just take risk to see a faster turn around on my profits or take money I made and spread it into so many businesses and ideas I had not taking account of my losses or that business wasn’t the right business of fit for what I was promoting as a brand and the over all part of my busines ie: proper license, taxes, payroll, business credit and much more. We are professional men and women who take pride in what we do from start to finish of any projects we may take on we treat people precious item as if it is our own. We cross train all our associate to be more efficient when servicing our clients and the community. We offer discount rates, free estimates, gifts, prizes and other ammenities.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my friend was visiting my city, I would take him/her to a few nice restaraunts to try some of my favorite dishes, number one would be kona grille they have this amazing lobster mac and cheese bowl, number two would be bone fish they have some amazing sushi i like the unagi or americans like to call it eel and number three would be the capital grille they have the best salmon money could buy. For drinks I would take my friend to carrabas which is an italian restaraunt they have this drink called sicilian sunset this drink has a smooth taste it will have you calm, relaxed and without a hang over. The hang out spot would be medusa lounge they have a nice atmosphere with good music also they have a nice selection at the bar and a hookah lounge.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a shout out to my father even though it has been many times we haven’t seen eye to eye he was the person who showed me how to eat right to live, he tought me and showed me the importance of excercising and most of all he showed me how to not just save for a rainy day but to take your money and make an investment to make your money work for you so you don’t always have to work for it that fed my curiosity and ever sense elementary school I had a business . Also I want to give a shoutout to Ash Exantus aka ash cash deemed the hip hop financial motivator who gave me the insight on the importance of how to handle your finances; Also Earn Your Leisure and David Never Sleeps on youtube they gave me inspiration on how to refocus on your life career and brand and how you can over come the many obstacles in life and how to come back stronger after tragedy hit in your business.
