Hi Tippy, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
If anything else I want people to remember that I was a motivator, mentor, leader and with my success I gave inspiration to others to follow their dreams. That I was a good person and everything that I tried to do I did it with God’s favor.. I want people to remember that I provided for my family blood, sweat & tears.

I Believe no matter how successful you get, you only really know the true meaning of it when you’ve reached out that hand and brought others with you..

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My Business Is called Kingz Palace It’s a grooming & wellness spa – service for Men. I offer customized grooming & wellness regimens to suit each individual Man. services/treatments include MAN-icures, pedicures, massages, facials, waxing, teeth whitening, scalp micropigmentation (smp), hair care, beard care and therapeutic wellness.

I love what i do! truthfully I started this business venture in 2008 in my home town (MIlwaukee, WI) with alot of eyebrows raised & fingers pointed at me (women) (rough start) But i didn’t let that discourage me. I knew there was a need for Men’s Grooming and wellness and the education that followed.

Everyone knows I am for our Men, our Kings. I sit around men all day everyday! It’s my job to know how they operate. I believe in nurturing, supporting, cherishing & stroking the egos of well deserving Men (Kings). So man bashing doesn’t sit to well over here. but if you want to talk about how to uplift, elevate support, groom & nurture our men, than I’m all in

I started this business because MEN wanted and needed a place just for THEM! where they could be comfortable with their grooming & wellness services, redirecting the narrative that personal grooming was “feminine” .. By creating a masculine, comfortable MAN-friendly environment for men to partake in grooming of their hands, feet, body, skin and hair. allowed MEN to open up to the concept, indulge in proactive care and treatment and educate themselves on the importance of personal care. so sorry ladies NO tropical scents here,, and YES we leave the seat up!

Now 13 years later,, growing stronger, MEN LOVE the personalized Grooming regimens we offer and the concept of Kingz Palace,, & their women (wives, girlfriends) love it too. They’re not pointing the finger anymore, they’re actually dialing my number to book their Men’s appointments, asking for tips , advice & giving friendly positive feedback!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
oh boy this one is tough. I’m From Milwaukee, WI so I’m fairly new to the Atlanta Area and since I’ve been here I really haven’t had any time to focus on entertainment ,fun, outside activities or anything that wasn’t contributing to my goal in hand, to succeed! I haven’t seen much outside of work. So at this point I’m in grind mode. Solidifying my business who i am as a person and professional, networking, acquiring new business relationships and clients is my focus. lol I love to have fun and Music is my “high”,, but right now I’m probably not the “go to” for attractions or entertainment. lol

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
1st I have to show my gratitude and gratefulness to God! He deserves all the credit. Without his love and faithfulness to me none of this would be possible! My 2nd recognition goes to my children . They are my biggest inspiration. Everything I do, I do for them. They’ve been with me through every stage of this journey, especially My oldest two. They were with me through my toughest stages and years. My children were definitely the ones that were with me “shooting in the Gym” as they would say.
