We had the good fortune of connecting with Kerry Ferber and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kerry, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
One of my favorite quotes is, “Trust the timing of your life”. This quote has always held special meaning in all aspects of my life including entrepreneurship, relationships, opportunities, and more. This is a powerful reminder to trust the timing and unfolding of experiences / adventures / moments in each aspect of our lives. Reading this quote leaves me with a sense of knowing that if I consistently lead from my heart, live in integrity, and lean into trust, the magic will simply unfold before me. This quote also deeply resonates with my connection to the present moment. Relaxing into the trust that everything that’s for me in life will drop in exactly as and when it’s meant to allows me to live more fully in the current moment. Presence is a gift we give ourselves and to others we surround ourselves with. “Trust the timing of your life” might seem simple on the surface, but when you allow it to sink in deeper, it’s messages illuminate brightly.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Where do I begin with all of these wonderful prompt questions?! Much like most entrepreneurs, building my business has been a journey of ups and downs. For me, I knew that I could not start my business until I had left my 9-5 job. I was working in Human Resources for 8 years before the depths of me nudged me towards entrepreneurship. I quit my 9-5 and two weeks later moved to a new city (Philadelphia) and registered for my business LLC. A few weeks after that, I hosted a business launch party for my newly established HR Consultancy focused on small businesses. Less than three weeks after my launch party, my father unexpectedly passed away and I was appointed his Personal Representative/Executrix of his will and estate. I put my business on hold to be able to move into this role of closing out my dad’s life. A few weeks later, the pandemic hit the US. On the 2020 summer solstice, I chose to close the HR chapter of my life and gradually pivoted my business over to energy healing and spiritual life coaching.

I’ve had an entrepreneurial spirit since I was a kid – my first business card was for babysitting (HAHA!) and I must say, it was quite professional looking. I thought I could jump right into entrepreneurship right after high school despite not having a business plan of any sort. My parents thought otherwise, so I went to University of Colorado, Leeds School of Business – which has a great entrepreneurial program. After graduating, I went into working full-time yet the desire to work for myself someday was always flickering within me.

I’d like the world to know that the journey of entrepreneurship all unfolds as it’s meant to – the lessons, the rollercoaster ride of emotions, the beauty – guides you to deeper layers of yourself. I wouldn’t trade it for anything and I’m incredibly grateful to be able to fulfill my highest level of service through my current business.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Living in Springdale, UT brings me a lot of joy since it’s a small town right at the base of Zion National Park. If my best friend was visiting, we’d go on SO many adventures. We’d probably start with some beautiful hikes in the park and then transition to a canyoneering experience later in the week where we’d explore some of the beautiful orange rock slot canyons! I’d love to go on a helicopter ride to see Zion’s wonder from the skies. There’s a Coral Pink Sand Dunes Park about 45 minutes away where us two wild and adventurous gals would go ATV-ing. We’d eat at my favorite place called Bit and Spur, where I’d order the shrimp tacos and something other than a margarita 🙂 I’d also take my friend to Deep Creek Coffee for a morning boost before one of our hikes – they have a rooftop area where you can eat while gazing at the stunning landscape views. Lastly, we would walk to this labyrinth that is behind one of the hotels in town and enjoy a sacred, reflective walk through the labyrinth.
