We had the good fortune of connecting with Bridgetown Rentals LLC and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bridgetown Rentals LLC, what role has risk played in your life or career?
When hearing the word “risk” I don’t think nothing positive comes in the thinking process. Risk is one word that gets our attention fast, entrepreneur or not. Everyone knows starting a business is a risk if it wasn’t this world would filled with entrepenuaers. It’s hard to make decisions, invest money, and plan when you know a risk is involved. It doesn’t sound as bad until you’re in that moment to make a decision that will either make or break your business. When tying risk to our business it was definitely a wall that took us forever to climb over. We prolonged our process for so long because we knew it was a lot of money we were investing and the fear of not making that money back constantly was in our thoughts. So after making our investment you now face other situations mentally and financially. Like once you are in the industry you start do more research and notice that your business is one of thousands. So you now have to do whatever you need in order to get people to book your business over your competition. These decisions could be anywhere from marketing more or deciding what to price our services at. Whatever decision we made we’d be taking a risk to see if this was a great move that brings us clientele or was this the wrong move that we wasted money or time on. You would hope and pray every decision made was the best move but in actuality you never know until you try and that’s the scary part. But risk has prolonged our process in certain areas because of fear. Even to the point where you wanna walk away and just take the L on the time and money spent in your business but you have to overcome obstacles and put your best foot forward. We cheer each other on each step of the way and even when it seems impossible we focus on the positivity and that keeps us from falling into a dark space. Going into the business world you have to have a strong backbone because everything is not going to go as planned but walking away is not the answer. You have to remain strong and never give up because anyway you could win !

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We stand out because we are a strong team that acts quickly and understand our worth. When we had our first event we unfortunately experienced damage to our equipment that could’ve easily taken us out of the game. It is easy to get discouraged especially when an unfortunate situation happens the very first public event. Our accomplishments comes more from a personal place of overcoming trials. But even though we have experienced moments where you can’t help but to panic we still maintain to remain professional and come together as a team and find a resolution quickly. We are business partners and family members as well. We stand firm on keeping personal and business separate because if not it doesn’t goes well. That could be a challenge itself but working with family is such a joy. This business has drawn us closer and we couldn’t be more thankful.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Here in Atlanta, GA its filled with tons of events and cool hang out spots. Of course I would take one to Piedmont Park. Piedmont Park is a place here were one can connect with nature but with the city as well. You are right in the heart of Atlanta, walking distance from the best restaurant, brunch spots, and clubs. The scenery is breathtaking. After leaving there I would recommend eating at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen. There are multiple locations, 4 to be exact. The best one is located in Norcross, GA. They are a cajun creole styled kitchen specializing in fresh caught fish from all around the world. And you can tell in every bite. Very good quality and the ambiance is a great reflection of New Orleans. Oh and I have to mention I’ve went 2 times and saw celebrities both times. Lil baby was spotted here as well as Jamie Fox and from what I heard that’s two of many celebrities that has passed through.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We would like to shoutout a lot of out social media followers. You never really know who is there for you until you start a business. It is 3 of us so that made our our platform more broad. When we announced our business we had a lot of unexpected supporters whether it was another small business owner, family, friends, or just a random person who wanted to support. Honestly the support gives you so much hope and makes you more determined. So we really appreciate anybody that has taken the time out to post us, or refer us. etc. It means way more than you think !
