Starting a business or pursuing a creative career makes finding work life balance really tough because there is no clear start and end to one’s work day. A lot of times people strive for “work/life” balance. Yet, the truth of the matter is that it doesn’t really exist! I know it makes no sense, but let me explain. Some days, the scale tips in favor of work, where I’ve had to work while I was out of town, or work most of a Sunday (my day “off”) to meet a deadline or prep for the week. However, there are some days where, I have no classes to teach, no meetings, and I don’t feel like posting online, On these days, I have nothing standing in my way of relaxing and hanging out with my family and friends.
