We had the good fortune of connecting with Solomon Bazuaye, Jr. and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Solomon, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
This is a great question! For me, I take everything to the altar and pray about it. I like to seek wise counsel as well. Just because something gets difficult doesn’t mean that it’s not meant to be or it won’t happen. It could just mean that the breakthrough is on the other side of the difficulty.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My podcast is all about having real and authentic conversations. Things cannot change if they are not discussed. At the end of every conversation, I try to point it back to Jesus because He is the source of my strength.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love The Center For Civil & Human Rights. I love history and I love learning. I can go there a hundred times and not get tired!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shout out my lovely wife, Tori Bazuaye. She just gave birth to our son. She had a very difficult pregnancy. She is such a strong and amazing woman. She is my inspiration and I love her more everyday!
