Hi Jerry, how does your business help the community?
Ruthless Killa Records helps the community by supporting unsigned independent artists by providing them opportunities at either a discounted price or thru giveaways to the things they will need to advance their dream or get them the resources needed to be successful in the industry.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Ruthless Killa Records was officially launched in 2018. The name is inspired by the memory of my late cousin Jaquise. Ruthless Killaz is what we called ourselves when we were teenagers so when he passed away I promised the world would know about him so my record was formed as a promise to him. If you asked me what I’m most proud of is probably all the opportunities I have been able to bless a lot of artists with over the last few years . A lot of artist have gotten a boost in their careers off the opportunities provided by my team. I got where I am now by being consistent and always evolving to whatever situations I faced . I can’t tell you it was easy in the beginning because as a independent company in the music industry you have to prove you can compete and on a limited budget that’s hard to do when the majors got millions. But I can say through my relationship ma and business practices made its a lot easier now. I had to overcome adversity by changing my inner circle and get deeper into the business side of things and create ways to make money to oust the vision. I’ve learned everybody I ain’t your friend and the game and people will use you if u let them so you gotta know where u wanna go what you wanna do and know how you gonna get there. I want the world to know that when it comes to music we are coming for the top spot in music but we are gonna do it the right way and stand behind everything we push and everyone we invest in our motto is “He Who Finish Last Shall One Day Finish First” I heard that and it stuck with me so I keep that in mind when I’m conducting business.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well due to me having to travel so much I don’t really go out unless I’m getting paid to appear in a club so honestly We would just go to your typical commercial restaurants or sports bars depending on what events are happening that weekend in Atlanta it just really all depends. I do know one thing that excites a lot of people you never know what celebrities you’re gonna see cause they are like normal people here to us if you live here .

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I wanna give a shoutout to my team that stands behind me and helps me decide the decisions that’s best for the entire movement. Thank you to Dj Rome , Dawn, My 1st lady, Givenchy Royal , Deona Freeman, Slim at JMO Radio, Playa Da Mayor, Big O, Wholehearted, Sheay Harrison,and everyone else that truly supports us as a whole it’s too many to name .
