We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexander Turner and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alexander, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
We wanted to be able to put creative control into our own hands. We decided to establish ourselves as a musical production team AND piece band that also specializes in 360/VR performances to further our reach.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Like most musicians, the pandemic caused us to expand on our thinking. The results came in the form of us rebranding into a band and musical production team that specializes in 360/VR performances and content.
It definitely wasn’t easy. VR content creating is still in its infant stages but because of the pandemic it has provided new opportunities.
Along the way we have learned that attention to detail matters. We have adjusted our processes to remain relevant as well as unique within the industry. We pride ourselves in creating or recreating content and we aim to transform the mundane and traditional into a product that is cutting edge and unusual.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would show our best friend all the best live musician spots around the city! Starting with Sunday at Gallery 992, Tuesday at Elliots Street Pub, Wednesday at Backstage, Thursday a hawks game (possibly)! The weekend is always different but always a fun time!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Sólful Hornz! This 3 piece horn unit has helped take our production team to another level with their creative viewpoints.
