We had the good fortune of connecting with Ruju Hailey Shah and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ruju Hailey, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Ever since planning and designing my wedding years ago, it’s been my passion and frankly, obsession to plan events for others. What I love most about planning though isn’t necessarily the physical execution or design plans, it’s being able to make an event truly unique by highlighting the unique personalities and quirks about the couple or person we’re celebrating
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We believe that the magic lies in the details. We craft luxurious weddings that are on brand to our couples. We notice the smallest details in our couple’s love story and weave them into their design to create a wedding that reflects their personalities, values, and interests. Our couple has a love story to tell and we want to tell their story.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to Avalon to visit some of the most amazing boutiques there. I would also go visit the Beltline and Ponce City Market for some amazing food.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to thank my family and my husband for supporting me on this journey. I also want to thank a few of my colleagues who have encouraged me to start my own venture.
