We had the good fortune of connecting with Melody Laney and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Melody, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought for KaPar was taking my skills and passion to help small business owners in the area of customer service.
So often you encounter bad experiences with smaller business not because they do not value you as a client/customer.
Customer service is such a broad subject that is easily overwhelming, so often the approach many small business owners take is just be kind. While kindness is necessary its not the only solution to providing the best customer experience. While I was in the developing stages of my business my main goal was how to not only teach small business owners how to deliver great customer service but how to create an experience that will draw customers back to their business.
What should our readers know about your business?
KaPar is different from most brand reputation management firms because our main goal is to provide our clients with tools to help them deliver a wow experience to every customer and not just suppress negative reviews. I’m excited to see my revised business model create new opportunities for my business and results for my clients. Being open to make changes and remaining consistent with developing my brand. There was a point where I was worried about not showing up daily promoting my business would cause me to lose my followers. After having several heart to hearts with myself I had to make the decision that would put me in position long term. This was by-far the hardest decision I have made as a business owner. Yes I was terrified but after praying and trusting myself fully I was able to make the change. Biggest lesson I have learned is to run my race at my pace and not focus on what others are doing in the business, It’s so easy to get caught up in feeling like you have to compete or follow the rules those around you follow to gain success, Learning to whole heartedly trust yourself is a process that you have to go through at some point in business,
I want the world to know that KaPar Innovative Services LLC is here to change the narrative of small business! We want business to thrive and provide every customer with a Wow experience. Our story is that of overcoming every obstacle thrown at us to create a reputable brand.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
This is a tough one a week long vacation no kids what is that lol. I would say me and my best friend would visit local boutiques for some retail therapy.
Girl time is not complete without pampering so we would go to the spa for pampering,
Eating so many restaurants
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’m extremely blessed to have such an amazing support system I don’t want to not mention anyone
