We had the good fortune of connecting with Unique Rembert and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Unique, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
I believe that my studio helps the community by bringing the community together. A lot of our members will come to West Midtown to make friends to find out about what’s going on in the community and also just come to get an hour away from whatever they’re doing with in their lives, I love that we can bring that sense of security to people in just an hour doing a work out. It amazes me I love what I do. We’ve created so many business partnerships by just asking them to come and take a work out,and In turn our members get to experience and learn more about the community.
If you go in our studio we have an area where you can find out what’s going on in West Midtown. This space has grown so much since we’ve opened and the community is so generous because of that! Being a member at West Midtown Orangetheory means that you get plugged into the community in the best way!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
In my opinion, my career is nothing short of a dream come true! Three years ago, I started out as a Coach in Atlanta, GA at the Howell Mill Studio, and if someone had told me back then that I’d be where I am now, I would have thought they were crazy – haha! But here I am, thanks to the incredible opportunities that Orangetheory has given me to help people achieve their goals and define their own paths.

Along the way, I’ve learned so many valuable lessons, but the most important one has been to lead with love no matter what. Sometimes, you’ll encounter people who don’t understand or appreciate you – or who might not even like you! But it’s crucial to remember that your intention is not to make everyone like or understand you, but to always lead with love and positivity.

I owe a lot of my success to the wonderful people who believed in me and supported me throughout this journey. It hasn’t always been easy – there have been plenty of challenges to overcome, and I’ve had to learn and grow along the way. But with the help of my amazing friends and colleagues, those challenges never seem insurmountable.

Overall, I’m incredibly grateful for my career thus far and excited for whatever the future holds. I know that as long as I continue to lead with love and surround myself with amazing people, there’s nothing I can’t achieve!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Clearly we’re making our first stop at Orangetheory Fitness West Midtown! We can’t start the day without our afterburn:)

Our next stop would be The Daily ATL, for a nice breakfast and some amazing coffee! They have a great Israeli upside down Latte.

Once we get our coffee fix we have to hang at the Works! They have an amazing new Fetch Dog park for my pups to run around and meet other pup friends! They also have tons of spots to hang and chill out.

Following that we have to go grab some lunch. Since we are already at the Works, we can choose from an array of options in their food hall! I personally love Gus Dumplings!

Before the sun sets we have to head to the LOA rooftop pool and bar! Up there they have an amazing heated pool to hang out either in or around!

Lastly is dinner before we call in a night! There are so many amazing places here but Humble pie has the best food and even better drinks! Their burger is the best in the city in my opinion.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Wow, I feel like I have so much support around me and have met so many amazing people since we’ve open the studio, but I have to give majority of the credit to my wonderful fiancé Christopher Hicks. He’s help me learn how to create these business to business partnerships, and grow as a leader, throughout this journey of growing West Midtown, I also have to give a shout out to my amazing team. A few of the girls, like Lissbeth Cabrera and Lavonia Bobo and Emel Mosley have been with me since we opened the doors in January 2022, and without them I don’t think we would be where we are today with the amazing community we’ve created, and the amazing culture that we’ve created in the studio !
